Rep. Esther Helton-Haynes named2026 Elected Woman of Excellence
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – State Rep. Esther Helton-Haynes, R-East Brainerd, has been named a recipient of the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL) 2026 Elected Women of Excellence Award.
The Elected Women of Excellence Award recognizes women serving in elected office at the state and local levels who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to public service. Honorees are recognized for their contributions to their communities, leadership in public office and efforts to create opportunities for future generations of women to serve.
“I’m incredibly honored to receive this recognition and to be counted among so many women who are making a difference in communities across the country,” said Helton-Haynes. “Serving the people of Hamilton County is truly a privilege, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to use my voice and experience to make a positive difference for the families I represent.
