Veteran-owned firms add examiner-informed risk advisory, security infrastructure and technical delivery capabilities.

LITCHFIELD, CT, UNITED STATES, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- SENTRICUS today announced strategic partnerships with Black Knight Risk Management (BKRM) and Cluster Technology Group (CTG), two service-disabled veteran-owned firms that expand the company's ability to connect cybersecurity education, cyber-risk and compliance advisory with regulatory readiness, security infrastructure engineering, project delivery and technical talent.

The partnerships are designed to help clients move from understanding cyber risk and regulatory requirements to practical execution. SENTRICUS will lead cybersecurity education, cyber-risk and compliance advisory, program strategy and engagement coordination. BKRM will contribute examiner-informed IT, cybersecurity and operational-risk advisory, regulatory readiness, governance and executive-level risk translation. CTG will contribute network and security infrastructure engineering, modernization, IT project management and technical talent. Specific services, contracting roles and delivery responsibilities will be defined for each client engagement.

Together, the firms broaden SENTRICUS's partner-enabled delivery model. BKRM adds regulator-side judgment that can help clients anticipate supervisory concerns, prepare evidence and translate technical risk for boards and executives. CTG adds the engineering and project capacity needed to act on cyber-risk and compliance decisions. Their federal Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business certifications may support eligible teaming and subcontracting opportunities, subject to each procurement.

“We selected BKRM and CTG because their capabilities complete different parts of the client journey,” said Harlan A. Bizzell, chief executive officer of SENTRICUS. “BKRM helps clients understand how governance, controls and evidence may be evaluated in practice. CTG brings the infrastructure and project-delivery capacity needed to implement the response. Together, they strengthen our ability to move clients from education and risk clarity to accountable execution.”

BKRM: examiner-informed regulatory and operational-risk readiness
Founded in 2025 by Otuoze Baiye, BKRM advises banks, fintechs, government agencies and other regulated institutions on IT, cybersecurity and operational-risk governance, examination readiness, operational resilience, third-party risk and executive decision-making. Baiye previously served in technology, cybersecurity and risk-examination roles with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the New York State Department of Financial Services. He is a West Point graduate and former U.S. Army officer. BKRM also adds GRC, executive-advisory and AI-risk capabilities aligned with SENTRICUS's compliance and AI-governance priorities.

“The best time to address a supervisory concern is before it becomes a formal finding,” Baiye said. “Working with SENTRICUS will help institutions connect regulatory insight with practical support to strengthen governance, controls and operational readiness.”
CTG: security infrastructure and technical delivery.

Founded in 2023 by Kermit Middleton, CTG provides network and security infrastructure services, modernization, IT project management, procurement and technical talent acquisition for public- and private-sector clients. Middleton, a U.S. Marine Corps and Army National Guard veteran, has more than two decades of network-engineering and team-management experience and previously supported the U.S. Department of Labor as a senior network engineer. His background includes federal project delivery, firewalls, intrusion detection, cloud-security applications, continuity planning, technical recruiting and team development.

“Technical execution is strongest when the business, risk and compliance requirements are clear before the build begins,” Middleton said. “This partnership gives CTG clients access to that context earlier and gives SENTRICUS clients access to the engineering and project-delivery capacity needed to act on it.”

The partnerships will also support SENTRICUS cybersecurity education and experiential-learning programs. An early collaboration will be a two-hour cybersecurity crisis tabletop exercise for undergraduate students at Baruch College on Aug. 13, co-facilitated by Baiye and Middleton. The banking scenario will expose students to executive, regulatory, operational and technical decisions required during a cyber incident.
