Public Invited to Attend the 26th Annual Emergency Services Memorial, Oct. 10
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – County Emergency Services and local area first responder agencies invite the public to attend the 26th Annual Cumberland County Emergency Services Memorial. Those in attendance will join in paying tribute to firefighters, EMS personnel and other emergency services heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the community.

Location: Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) Regional Fire & Rescue Training Center, 775 Tom Starling Rd., Fayetteville.
This solemn ceremony will include a wreath-laying, roll call of fallen personnel, the traditional 5-5-5 bell ringing, and the playing of Taps.
Keynote speaker for the event will be Cumberland County Pavan Patel.

Over the last 26 years, the County’s memorial service has evolved into a deeply meaningful annual tradition, offering space for remembrance, recognition, and community support. For information about the memorial service, or participation opportunities, contact:
Community members who wish to purchase a commemorative brick or have one permanently placed within the memorial walkway circle must submit a Memorial Brick Request form. Additional information may be found at BravetheFire.com under the “Honor Guard” menu.
